At a SFA event, our surfers provide a safe environment where 2 to 4 highly skilled and trained surf instructors carefully guide both children and adults with autism into the waves. Our surfers and their families are treated like rock stars and enjoy a day filled with a range of activities! What are those activities you ask? They include stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, live music, face painting, games, bounce houses, fire engine tours and much more!! A catered lunch is also provided, ALL at zero cost! This is a very special day where children and adults with ASD interact with peers and wow their families with their recessed capabilities. These events are examples of inclusion at the highest level!
